Ghana international, Jerome Opoku has reacted after completing his permanent switch to Turkish outfit Istanbul Başakşehir.
In an official club statement from the Turkish outfit, it said the Black Stars defender signed a three-year contract.
He would have the chance to extend for an additional year if he manages to impress.
“A 3-year contract was signed with our player using the option of Jerome Opoku, whom we rented from the Portuguese club Arouca at the beginning of the 2023-2024 season with the option to purchase.
“We wish success to Jerome Opoku, who will continue his career as a valuable member of the Başakşehir family,” the Turkish Club said on Wednesday, June 26.
Reacting after completing the switch, Ghana’s Jerome Opoku expressed his delight with an emphatic statement that he is “Here to stay.”
