The head coach of Heart of Lions, Bashir Hayford has admonished fans to troop to the Stadium to watch his team take on Hearts of Oak in the Homowo Cup.
He has promised that fans will be treated to beautiful football on the matchday.
“…we want people to troop to the stadium and watch a beautiful game. Because we are going to trill the fans and they will be happy for the occasion,” coach Bashir Hayford said at a press conference on Wednesday.
In the engagement with the media, the coach said Heart of Lions has prepared very well for the upcoming showdown.
“I'm also delighted that once again I'm meeting a club like Hearts of Oak for this important cup. And we have prepared very well for this match,” Coach Bashir Hayford said.
The Gbese Mantse Homowo Charity Peace Cup match between Hearts of Oak and Heart of Lions will be played on Sunday, August 11, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
