The President of FC Samartex 1996, Dr. Richard Duah Nsenkyire, believes the future of Ghana football is bright despite a lot of people expressing contrary opinions.

Believes the Ghana Premier League has become competitive in the last two seasons after his team won the title in only their second season in the competition.

The Samreboi-based wrapped up the title with two games to spare on Sunday afternoon after beating Bibiani Gold Stars 1-0.

Under Amadu’s leadership, FC Samartex has delivered an outstanding performance this season.

The team won 18 matches, lost 10, and drew 4 out of the 32 games played so far, showcasing their dominance in the league.

Reacting to their triumph, Dr. Richard Duah Nsenkyire suggested that the Ghana Premier League needs more of financial help to thrive.

“For me, I have a lot of hope in the future of Ghana. The league is becoming competitive. What we need more now is financial support and good infrastructure the boys can play football on,” he told Asempa FM.
