Former Hearts of Oak midfielder, Glid Otanga has revealed that he rejected a move to Asante Kotoko.
Otanga has joined Qatari side Al Kharaitiyat after leaving the Phobian Club.
Speaking to Ghanasportspage, the exciting midfielder revealed that he was approached by the Porcupine Warriors but he rejected their offer.
“I was approached by Asante Kotoko but I told them, am not interested in moving from Hearts of Oak," he said.
He also shared that he loves the Phobian Club and it will have a special place in his heart.
“ I have a special place in my heart for Hearts of Oak, I really love the club and there is no way I will sign for their rivals.”
The 23-year-old featured in 53 games for Hearts of Oak for two seasons and scored two goals for the club.
The Congolese middleman made 26 appearances last season, having had more starts and provided an assist as a defensive midfielder.
