I’m having sleepless nights because of high standards I’ve set at Vision FC – Nana Agyemang

Vision FC Coach Nana Agyemang has said he is having sleepless nights because he has set high standards for himself following a goalless draw against Berekum Chelsea in their first-ever top-flight game.

The newly promoted side held the former Ghanaian champions on Saturday, ahead of their game against Accra Lions on Monday, September 16, 2024.

This is the first top job Agyemang is handling in his coaching career after previously serving as an assistant coach to Laryea Kingston with the Ghana U20 male national team.

“I put a lot of pressure on myself every time I get onto a new stage because I want to succeed. I have sleepless nights not because somebody wants me to, but because I want the team to play well,” he said after the game.

“Right from the beginning of the season, people didn’t even think that Vision could play the way we do today.

“The preseason wasn’t that great in terms of possession, movement in and out of spaces, and finishing. We are still working in phase four. Once we get it right and are able to score goals, I think that Vision will forge forward.”
