Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies have denied making a formal bid for Ex-Asante Kotoko forward Songné Yacouba in the on-going transfer window.

The Eleven is to One lads were reported to be in negotiations with the 28-year-old's representatives over a possible deal ahead of the second round of the 2019/20 league season.

But the Technical Director of Inter Allies, Wille Klutse has debunked those reports in an interview.

"We have not made a bid for Songne Yacouba as been reported in the media," he said.

"Inter Allies is a club that focuses on developing young talents and then sell them abroad. I have done my checks with the team and we haven't made any bid for Yacouba."

The Burkina Faso international joined the Reds on a two-year deal after successful trials in 2018, however, he turned down several contract extensions talks with the club.

He became an instant hit at the club after scoring two goals and providing five assists for Kotoko during their 2018 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
