The Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum, has expressed disappointment Hearts of Oak are consistently battling relegation in the last two seasons in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians are perilously close to the drop zone, trailing by just one point as they prepare to face Bechem in their final game of the season on Sunday.

Alongside city rivals Great Olympics, Heart of Lions, and Karela United, Hearts of Oak find themselves embroiled in the relegation battle.

Speaking on the relegation fight ahead of the final round of games for the Ghana Premier League, Asante Twum stated that Hearts of Oak know what to do.

“We are only disappointed in the fact that it's become one too many for a couple of years since they won the title under Samuel Boadu, which is quite a worrying really. But they know what to do,” he told Joy Sports.

“They know that their destiny is in their own hands; they know that they need to go to Bechem and fight for the points.”
