I've not had conversations with Hearts of Oak over a possible transfer - Bofoakwa Tano forward Saaka Dauda

Bofoakwa Tano forward Saaka Dauda has confirmed that he has not had any conversations with Hearts of Oak regarding a possible transfer in the upcoming transfer window.

Despite their relegation, the 24-year-old remains one of their bright spots in a somewhat bleak season that has seen them drop back down to the Division One League.

Hearts of Oak themselves had to win on the final day of the season to avoid relegation, which means they will need to recruit players to strengthen their squad.

Saaka Dauda has scored eight goals in 32 Ghana Premier League games as Bofoakwa Tano suffered relegation.

However, he clarified that he has not spoken with anyone from Hearts of Oak.

“Yes, as of now, I have spoken with no one from Hearts but I have received calls from Asante Kotoko,” he told Akoma FM.

“Kotoko is a big team, so I would really love to play for them.

“Looking at the players, board, and owner, it is clear that this is a great team, and if the deal is completed, I will be grateful to God for providing me with such a big platform.

“However, I still have two years left on my contract, so Kotoko and Bofoakwa will need to come to an agreement before I can join.”
