Ghana duo, Jordan Ayew and Elisha Owusu will arrive in the country tonight ahead of the games against Angola and Niger in the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

The two are the only players yet to report to the camp of the Black Stars for the upcoming AFCON qualification matches.

According to GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum, the two players will arrive tonight at 10 pm before subsequently travelling to Kumasi to join their Black Stars teammates.

“There are 22 players in camp. The only two absentees are Jordan Ayew and Elisha Owusu. They will arrive tonight at 10 pm and join us here in Kumasi,” Henry Asante Twum told 3Sports.

Meanwhile, the Black Stars have held a second training session today as part of preparations for the game against Angola, the first of the two games in the September international break.

The team will have a final training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium tomorrow before the meeting with Angola on Thursday.
