Karela United have signed 18-year-old midfielder Mohammed Fidaus, enhancing their squad ahead of the new season.

The Ghana Premier League side confirmed the acquisition on Saturday, August 24, 2024, as they continue to bolster their roster.

Fidaus joins Karela United from fellow top-flight club Nsoatreman FC, adding youthful energy and potential to the team.

In a statement on their official X account, the club expressed excitement about the new signing, saying, “We're delighted to announce the arrival of our new attacking Midfielder, Fidaus Mohammed from Nsoatreman FC.”

While the announcement generated enthusiasm, Karela United did not disclose the duration of Fidaus’s contract, leaving fans curious about his long-term commitment.

Last season, Fidaus made three appearances in the Ghana Premier League, marking his debut in professional football.

Eager to make a more significant impact, he aims to secure a regular spot in Karela United's starting lineup.

He will quickly join the team’s pre-season training to prepare for the upcoming campaign, where he hopes to showcase his talent on a larger stage.
