Ghana Premier League sides, Hearts of Oak and Bechem United are engaged in a friendly match on Wednesday, August 7, 2027.
The match forms part of the pre-season activities of the two top-flight clubs ahead of the start of the 2024/25 football season.
Wednesday’s friendly match between Hearts of Oak and Bechem United will be played at the Pobiman Sports Complex.
The match kicked off at 15:00 pm, with Hearts of Oak using the friendly as a warm up clash to the Homowo Charity Cup match against Heart of Lions.
Coach Aboubakar Ouattara is using the game to assess the level of his team as he targets an improved performance in the Ghana Premier League next season.
In a dramatic end to the 2023/24 season, Hearts of Oak secured their Premier League status with a 3-2 victory over Bechem United at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
They finished 14th in the league with 45 points from 34 matches, narrowly escaping relegation by just one point.
