Medeama SC to play CAF Champions League home games at TNA Park

Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC will play their CAF Champions League home games at the Tarkwa TNA Stadium.

The Yellow and Mauve will play in the group stage of the CAF elite competition following their qualification over the weekend.

Medeama SC in the second round of the preliminary games recorded a 3-1 win in the first leg against Guinean side, Horoya AC at the Cape Coast.

In the return leg in Conakry, The Ghanaian suffered a 2-1 defeat.

However, Evans Adotey and his charges booked their qualification on a 4-3 aggregate scoreline.

Medeama played their preliminary games at the Cape Coast Stadium due to the renovation works which was ongoing at the TNA Park.

However, they will now return to their favourite grounds where they will play their home games in the CAF Champions League and the Ghana Premier League games.

Meanwhile, Medeama SC have been awarded $550,000 following the qualification to the group stage.

After securing qualification to the tournament, Medeama will turn attention to the Ghana Premier League where they face Nsoatreman in their matchday three fixture.
