Ghanaian midfielder, Enoch Morrison has apologised to Hearts of Oak for snubbing the club to sign for Kenyan Premier League side Gor Mahia FC.

Last month, the former Asante Kotoko midfielder was heavily linked with a transfer to the Ghanaian giant and came close to sealing a move.

However, he later opted to move abroad and signed for Kenyan outfit Gor Mahia FC.

Speaking to Akoma FM today, Enoch Morrison has apologised for the collapse of the move to Hearts of Oak and asked for forgiveness.

“Hearts of Oak did not communicate with me directly, which made the deal more complicated. I knew they were interested in me, but for one or two reasons, the process took longer than anticipated. If the delay hadn't happened, I would have played for Hearts of Oak.

“During our multiple meetings, the Hearts coach expressed interest and explained how I would fit into his team. Because both of us were interested in the deal, I cannot hold Hearts responsible for its failure. I can only say that because it was not intentional, they should accept my apologies in this regard,” Enoch Morrison said.

In his interview, the highly-rated midfielder said he hopes to have the chance to play for Hearts of Oak in the future.
