Manchester City defender, Joško Gvardiol has praised the qualities of Mohammed Kudus, saying the Ghana attacker deserves attention.
His remarks come after playing against the 24-year-old last campaign and in the ongoing Premier League season.
Speaking to the club's media, the Croatian international expressed confidence that the Ghanaian star has the potential to establish himself as one of the world’s top players.
“I think he is the one who deserves attention, and I believe this season he’s going to come out and show his quality,” the former RB Leipzig defender said.
Kudus had an impressive debut season in England, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists across all competitions.
The former Ajax and FC Nordsjaelland attacker is currently at the camp of the Black Stars preparing for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger in the first Group F games on September 5 at the Baba Yara Stadium and September 9 in Berkane in Morocco.
