Former Asante Kotoko management member Nana Kwame Dankwah has been appointed as the General Manager of Division One League giants Okwawu United ahead of the new season.
With his wealth of experience in football administration, Okwawu United is hopeful that Nana Kwame Dankwah’s appointment will contribute significantly to the club's growth and achievements.
He graduated from Central University in 2021 with a BSc in Business Management.
Nana Kwame Dankwah previously served on Asante Kotoko management and was also the Greater Accra Supporters chief.
Okwawu United had an impressive season last term despite missing out on Ghana Premier League promotion. The Soccer Mountaineers finished second in Zone 3 of the Division One League, just six points behind eventual winners, Vision FC.
The former Premier League giants will build on their performance in the upcoming season as they seeks qualification back to the top-flight.
With the recent appointment, Okwawu United expects to run high for a successful Division One League campaign next season.
