Newcastle United defender Kieran Trippier has withdrawn from the England squad set to face North Macedonia on Monday.
England Football said the 33-year-old will miss the trip for the team's final Euro 2024 qualifier because of "a personal matter".external-link
Newcastle confirmed Trippier "has returned home" after leaving England manager Gareth Southgate's squad.
England have already qualified as Group C winners for Euro 2024.
They beat Malta on Friday, with Trippier having played the whole game in a 2-0 win, and have 19 points from seven games.
Newcastle's next game is against Chelsea on Saturday, 25 November.
