Nigerian midfielder, Fernando Wisdom Bassey has expressed his readiness to help his new club Asante Kotoko achieve its targets for the 2024/25 football season.
The youngster signed for the Ghana Premier League giants on Wednesday, August 28.
Speaking in an interview with the media team of Asante Kotoko, Fernando Wisdom Bassey said it was an honour to have the chance to play for the Ghanaian side.
He said he is keen to get started to play his part to ensure the club achieves success next season.
“Asante Kotoko is based in Kumasi, a city known for its deep passion for football. The enthusiasm here is unmatched, particularly when Kotoko or the Black Stars play, as seen during the World Cup play-off against Nigeria. I'm thrilled that everything has been finalized, and I look forward to helping my new teammates achieve our goals for the season,” Fernando Wisdom Bassey said.
Fernando Wisdom Bassey, 22, will be playing an important role for Asante Kotoko when the next season commences in September.
