Nsungusi Effiong hits brace to power HB Køge to victory in Danish cup

Nigerian youngster, Nsungusi Effiong displayed a fine form for his HB Køge outfit on Wednesday evening as he hit a brace to power the team to an emphatic 3-0 win against FA 2000.

The two Danish clubs were in action in the Round of 64 of the Landspokal Cup to fight for progression to the next stage of the competition.

After a very good start to the game, Nsungusi Effiong scored with a good effort on the 29th minute to give HB Køge the lead.

He stayed sharp and scored again on the 34th minute to give his team a deserved 2-0 lead.

Those two goals separated HB Køge from FA 2000 to sum up how good the visitors had been in the evening.

Following a red card to Michael Jonssen after 5 minutes into the second half, the home team was forced to play with 10 men in most parts of the second half.

After dominating, HB Køge eventually scored again through Marius Elvius on the 80th minute to wrap up a 3-0 win against the opponent.

Nsungusi Effiong, formerly of Inter Allies FC had an outstanding game throughout the 90 minutes and finished the game with high marks.
