The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, has urged the Black Stars to put a confident performance against Mali and secure the needed three points in Bamako.

The Black Stars touched down in Bamako on Tuesday night ahead of the third round 2026 World Cup qualifier.

The team is looking to bounce back from the Comoros defeat that has left them fourth in Group I with three points from two games.

Speaking to the team after one of their training sessions in Ghana, Kurt said, “I hope that we'll go to Mali with all the confidence that we have, with all the quality that I know we have, and go and put up a good performance that will give us the desired results. This is possible.

“Then, after that, we'll come back to our favorite, Marseille, and God willing, finish off the other game. On behalf of the FA, on behalf of Ghanians, I wish all of us well.”
