Real Tamale United have set sights on securing quick promotion to the Ghana Premier League following relegation.

The Pride of the North will feature in the Division League next season after failing to maintain their status in the Ghanaian top-flight in the soon to end campaign.

RTU are bottom on the Ghana Premier League campaign with 31 points, one game to end the season.

In the penultimate league game against Asante Kotoko at the Aliu Mahama Stadium last Saturday, RTU succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to the Porcupine Warriors.

Goals from Peter Amidu Acquah and Bernard Somuah were enough for the Ghanaian giants to snatch victory.

Speaking after the game, Iddi Manzah Alhassan, who is the interim coach of the club promised the fans of a quick return to the Ghanaian top-flight.

“I think what I have for our fans is to give them the hope that we are going out now but next year, Isha Allah we are coming back to the Premier League. They should keep supporting the team and we will give them the best” he told StarTimes.
