The Timber giants emerged as champions in the recently concluded campaign, dethroning Medeama.

However, Baffoe, who recently joined Samartex from Bofoakwa Tano insists the club’s Ghana Premier league success was not by accident.

“I will not promise that we are going to defend the league title but one thing is obvious, we will have another good season.”

”It's not by accident that FC Samartex won last season's league. In my few days with the team, I have been impressed with the treatment and everything that they have put down for players.”

Isaac Baffoe penned a three-year deal with the Timber Giants, impressing the technical team with his skills despite his former club's demotion from the top-flight.

Baffoe made 20 appearances for Bofoakwa Tano last season, scoring one goal.

His potential and explosive playing style have earned him a spot in Samartex's squad ahead of their CAF Champions League campaign and the defense of their Premier League title.

The young player's addition bolsters Samartex's attacking options and demonstrates the club's commitment to youth development and talent acquisition.
