Sassuolo Primavera made history by winning the Primavera Championship for the first time, defeating Roma 3-0 at the “Curva Fiesole” Stadium at the Viola Park sports center in Florence.

Italian-born Ghanaian youngster Justin Kumi, one of the key players in the team, expressed his excitement and happiness after the match.

“Yes, it's the first time that Sassuolo has won the Primavera Championship, we are super happy,” Kumi told Sportitalia

“Yes, we listened to Bigica's teachings and managed to win," he added.

The first goal for Sassuolo came in the 47th minute when a corner kick by Knezovic was rebounded by the defense. Falasca, positioned at the edge of the area, took advantage of Marin's exit and skillfully sent the ball to the corner, igniting the crowd at Viola Park.

In the 58th minute, Sassuolo extended their lead to 2-0. A lateral free kick by Knezovic was countered by Alessio in the corner. The black and green team capitalized on the opportunity, with Cinquegrano's powerful break resulting in the ball hitting the crossbar and then bouncing off Marin's hand before entering the goal.

The final goal of the match was scored in the 65th minute. Bruno recovered the ball near the Roma area and passed it to Russo, who expertly controlled the ball and unstoppably passed Marin to secure a resounding 3-0 victory for Sassuolo.
