It's a half and half weekend in the Scottish Premiership with three games each on Saturday and Sunday.

The first December fixtures of the season may herald cold temperatures, but no matter the conditions, picking up points before the following month's winter hiatus is vital for the 12 clubs

Here is the latest team news for the six top-flight games, plus some stats and your chance to select the side you would send out if you were in charge.

Kilmarnock v Heart of Midlothian

Kilmarnock have Brad Lyons available after suspension and Tom Davies returns from a thigh problem. Innes Cameron and Kyle Magennis remain out.

Nathaniel Atkinson, Craig Gordon, Craig Halkett and Barrie McKay are all close to returning for Hearts but will not be involved, while on-loan Brighton defender Odel Offiah is back with his parent club following his recent medical issues.

Did you know? Hearts have not won a Premiership game at Rugby Park since February 2019 but did win there in the Viaplay Cup earlier this season.

              St Johnstone v Celtic (12:00)

              St Johnstone defender Andy Considine is a doubt while Nicky Clark,Cammy MacPherson and Drey Wright remain out.

              Winger Luis Palma returns for Celtic after missing the midweek defeat by Lazio through suspension. Liel Abada, Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda are out.

              Did you know? St Johnstone drew 0-0 at Celtic Park back in August but have not beaten Celtic since 2016.

                      Rangers may have winger Scott Wright back while defenders Leon Balogun, Connor Goldson and Ridvan Yilmaz are available again after suspension and ineligibility prevented them playing in Thursday's Europa League draw with Aris Limassol. Kieran Dowell, Ryan Jack and Nico Raskin remain out.

                      St Mirren's Ryan Strain has been ruled out for three months with a groin injury that will require surgery but fellow defender Richard Taylor could return.
