Former Hearts of Oak Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Harry Zakour has expressed his worry about the current state of the club.

The Phobian clubs have been uninspiring and with a game to end the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, the Rainbow Club are being threatened with relegation and must win the final game of the season to maintain their Premier League status.

Speaking in an interview, the veteran football administrator revealed that he has been having sleepless nights due to the poor state of the club.

"The current state of Hearts of Oak is worrying," he told Asempa FM as Footballghana.com. "This is not Hearts of Oak. This is a club with history and was once ranked 8th best club in the world.

"We need to change how things are being run. It is worrying to see the club in its state.

"I am not happy with the current state of Hearts and it gives me sleepless nights," he added.

Hearts of will be hosted by Bechem United on Sunday at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in their final game of the season with kick-off scheduled at 15:00GMT.
