Niger International Victorien Adebayor is on the verge of joining Danish side HB Koge, according to Inter Allies Technical Director, Willie Klutse.

The Tema-based side has reached advanced negotiations with the Danish second-tier side who are keen on signing the highly-rated striker in the on-going transfer window.

Adebayor was sensational for Inter Allies in the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League, scoring an incredible 12 goals.

"Adebayor will not be returning to Ghana because he is currently in negotiations with a club in Denmark for a transfer move. Talks are far advanced between the two clubs and the deal will happen", Willie Klutse told Happy FM.

"He is a professional player so his contract and conditions were very high. He does not stay in our clubhouse. We rented an apartment for him together with his family. Now we are not playing football we cannot keep him because his wages are too much so it's good that we let him go."

"We provided everything for him to deliver and that is what you are supposed to do when you have such a top player in your team."
