President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has admonished the Black Starlets to play with confidence against Nigeria on Tuesday during their third-place match in the WAFU Zone B U17 Championship.

The Ghana U17 side will be without resigned head coach Laryea Kingston tomorrow when the team takes on the golden eaglets.

While the absence of the coach has affected the mood in camp, Kurt Okraku has charged the players to believe in themselves.

During a visit to the team on Monday evening, the GFA capo said, “Let’s be focused on our next opponents, Nigeria. They are beatable. Just don’t panic when things are difficult. Just be relaxed and keep playing to your strengths and the best of your abilities: You will get there.”

He continued, “Let’s never depart from how we have been taught to play. Let us stay together.”

The third-place match between Ghana and Nigeria on Tuesday will be played at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The match will kick off at 16:00gmt.
