Vincent Sowah-Odotei, a board member of Hearts of Oak, is confident that the club is making significant progress in recruiting quality players for the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The club has already added several new faces to their squad, including Great Olympics goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, Samuel Amofa, Michael Awuah, and Asamoah Boateng Afriyie, following the departures of Glid Otanga and Ibrahim Salifu.

Speaking to ChannelOne TV at a ceremony marking the official handover of the newly constructed Phobia House to the club, Sowah-Odotei emphasized that "the transfer period is a marathon, not a sprint."

"The transfer window is still open, and we believe we are on track," he stated.

Hearts of Oak had a challenging 2023-2024 season, finishing 14th in the Ghana Premier League and navigating through three different coaches.

Looking ahead, Hearts of Oak will start their 2024/25 league campaign with a home match against Basake Holy Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.
