Nsoatreman FC spokesman Joel Kofi has confirmed that the club made every effort to retain the services of Coach Maxwell Konadu, who recently led the team to victory in the MTN FA Cup.

Despite the club's best efforts, Konadu has decided to leave Nsoatreman FC, less than a month after their triumphant cup win.

Speaking to Peace FM, as monitored by Footballghana.com, Kofi emphasized the club's determination to keep Konadu at the helm for their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup campaign. However, the spokesman confirmed that the coach's departure was finalized this evening.

"We did everything in our power to keep Coach Maxwell Konadu," Kofi stated. "But when it became clear that we had to part ways, we made the decision to let him go."

Kofi also revealed that the club's management is already in the process of finding a suitable replacement for Konadu. He hinted that the new coach has experience in both the domestic league and international football.

"We are very confident that we will finalize the appointment of a new coach this week, or by next week at the latest," Kofi added.

Coach Maxwell Konadu is set to take on a new challenge with Black Leopards, aiming to secure their promotion to the top-flight PSL.
