Hearts of Oak defender Michael Awuah Mensah is praying for favour and luck ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians have faced challenges, failing to secure a top-ten finish in the league standings. They placed 14th in the recently concluded the 2023/24 campaign.

Hearts of Oak, a renowned club in Ghanaian football history, are determined to turn their fortunes around in the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, scheduled to kick off in September 2024.

The Ghanaian giants will commence the campaign with debutants Basake Holy Stars.

And speaking ahead of the new campaign, Awuah Mensah, who joined the Phobians from Nations FC said, “We pray for favour and luck ahead of the new season. We will approach the season match after match”

Meanwhile, the Phobians has commenced preparation for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign, which commences on September 6.

Mensah was instrumental for Nations FC, who finished 7th in their debut league season.

He will hope to hit the ground running for the Ghana Premier League giants’ next campaign.
