The head coach of Hearts of Oak, Aboubakar Ouattara has indicated that he will field his best team in the upcoming Gbese Mantse Homowo Charity Peace Cup.
The Phobians will take on fellow Premier League side Heart of Lions this weekend in the Homowo Cup.
Speaking to the press ahead of the game, Coach Aboubakar Ouattara said his team will do everything to win the cup.
To do this, he said Hearts of Oak will field the best players to compete.
“It's part of the pre-season matches. After that we can get another match. But for me it's normal we get a match at that appropriate time. We don't talk about the win now. We talk about the match.
“We are going to play the match. We will try to put our best team to play well. It's not the first and the last one,” Coach Aboubakar Ouattara said.
The Hearts of Oak coach added, “We are going to play the match. No team can tell you they are going to play the final and don't need to win. We need to bring the Cup back. It's football.”
The Gbese Mantse Homowo Charity Peace Cup will be played on Sunday, August 11.
The match will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
