In an exclusive report by Kickgh.com, reigning FA Cup champions, Nsoatreman FC, have named Yaw Preko as their new head coach, succeeding Maxwell Konadu, who recently left to join South African club Black Leopards.

Maxwell Konadu's tenure at Nsoatreman FC was marked by significant achievements, including a top four finish and the club's first major silverware, the  FA Cup. The triumph came after a hard-fought victory over regional rivals Bofoakwa Tano FC in the final.

Initial speculations suggested that former Black Stars head coach CK Akonnor was the front-runner for the position. However, negotiations failed to materialize, leading the club to turn to Yaw Preko.

Preko, who currently serves as the national U-15 coach, has signed a two-year contract with Nsoatreman FC. An official announcement from the club is expected shortly.

Yaw Preko previously managed Accra Hearts of Oak, Accra Great Olympics, Medeama SC, Nigerian side Ifeanyi Ubah, and others.
