Ghanaian winger Yaw Yeboah made a significant impact in Columbus Crew's 2-0 win against Nashville SC in the Major League Soccer (MLS) on Saturday.

The match marked the sixth encounter between the two teams, with Columbus Crew previously securing three wins and Nashville SC claiming two victories, while three matches ended in draws.

Yeboah was introduced in the 46th minute, replacing Max Arfsten at Lower.com Field. The Columbus Crew dominated the game with more possession and shots on goal. The deadlock was broken in the 30th minute when Columbus Crew's Christian Ramírez headed home a Cucho Hernández corner from close range.

In the 65th minute, Yaw Yeboah showcased his playmaking skills by setting up Diego Rossi's left-footed strike from the left side of the box, which found the center of the goal. This assist marked Yeboah's fifth of the 2024 MLS season in just 15 appearances.

Columbus Crew will look to continue their winning momentum as they face Toronto FC in their next league game.
