Berekum Chelsea coach Samuel Boadu set to stay at club

Experienced coach Samuel Boadu is expected to stay at Berekum Chelsea ahead of the upcoming football season.

The former Hearts of Oak manager joined Chelsea on a short-term deal, taking over after the second half of the Ghana Premier League season.

Boadu performed admirably well, leading the club to third place finish at the end of the domestic top-flight campaign.

Following the expiration of his contract, the leadership of the club has engaged Boadu over a possible contract extension.

And according to sources, Boadu is close to reaching an agreement with Berekum Chelsea and could continue to work as coach of the club next season.

Boadu is considered an one of the best coaches in the country considering his exploits with giants Hearts of Oak.

He won five trophies including the Ghana Premier League title with the Phobians during his time with the rainbow boys.
