As Ghana’s Black Princesses continue their preparations for the FIFA Women's U-20 World Cup in Colombia, they recently held Mexico to a goalless draw in a friendly in Bogota.

The team is set to play another friendly against South Korea next, with their first World Cup match against Austria scheduled for September 2.

Coach Yussif Basigi remains optimistic about the team’s progress: "We are ready, and the South Koreans are a very good side. We just finished the team shaping with our dress rehearsal as to how we play them tomorrow. So, I think the girls are ready. You can see that there are a lot of smiles on their faces—not because they feel overconfident or something, but it looks like now they are getting on well with conditions and everything here."

The Black Princesses are in Group E alongside Austria, Japan, and New Zealand, making for a challenging campaign ahead.
