The Black Princesses of Ghana are acclimatizing well in Colombia as they prepare for the FIFA Women's U-20 World Cup, according to head coach Yussif Basigi.

The team is in Colombia gearing up for the FIFA Women's U-20 World Cup. As part of their preparations, they played a goalless draw in a friendly against Mexico in Bogota.

The team will face South Korea in their next friendly as they prepare for the tournament's kick-off.

Head coach Yussif Basigi shared his thoughts on the team's progress: "I will say that we are acclimatizing very well because having the high altitude in mind we decided that we will push the girls so that they will have enough stamina to overcome the altitude. Now they are responding very well which is quite impressive. We are not carried away by the draw against Mexico; we are still focused on playing the main tournament."

The Black Princesses are set to begin their campaign on September 2 against Austria, followed by tough group matches against Japan and New Zealand in Group E.
