Anita Wiredu-Mintah, the assistant coach of Ghana's Black Princesses, has expressed her determination to be a role model for aspiring female coaches as she prepares for the U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia.
As the only woman on the technical team, Wiredu-Mintah acknowledges the significance of her role and the opportunity to inspire others.
"Being the only female coach on the technical team is both an honor and a privilege, but I also view it as a challenge," she told GFA Communications. Wiredu-Mintah is committed to giving her best, setting an example for younger female coaches and players alike.
Coaching at the World Cup is a significant milestone for Wiredu-Mintah, who admitted feeling a bit nervous. However, she has high expectations for her team and is confident they will advance past the group stage.
