Elfsborg confirms multiple offers for Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo

Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo could depart Swedish outfit Elfsborg before the summer transfer window shuts.

Baidoo has emerged as a top transfer target for several clubs in Europe due to his swashbuckling performance in the Swedish top-flight.

According to Elfsborg’s sporting director, Stefan Andreasson, the 25-year-old, who is knocking the doors of the Black Stars with an impressive performance in Sweden is one of the players that could leave Elfsborg this summer.

"We have some discussions. There is a lot of interest and requests.

"We have had all the focus on the Allsvenskan and advancing in the European games. Then we know we have to make certain decisions. I guess Baidoo is one of those players. You can guess yourself." He concluded.

Baidoo has been a standout performer for Elfsborg in the past two seasons.

He has racked up 10 goals in 26 appearances this season and has a 17-goal contribution across competitions for the club.

Meanwhile, Bundesliga club LASK Linz and English Championship outfit Plymouth Argyle are said to have express strong interest in the Ghanaian midfielder.
