Belgian-born Ghanaian central midfielder Pierre Dwomoh has expressed his excitement after completing his move to Watford FC.

"I'm very happy to be here, it's a big club," Dwomoh told watfordfc.com. "I'm happy that I'll be able to soon show what I'm able to do on the field."

The 20-year-old midfielder, who joined from Royal Antwerp FC, is eager to contribute to his new team. "I'm technical, I like duels, I like to run as well. I like to help my teammates, I like to jump in and just be there for them," he added.

Watford FC confirmed Dwomoh's permanent signing today. A youth international for Belgium, Dwomoh began his career with Genk, making two appearances before joining Antwerp in July 2021.

He has since played five times for the Belgian Pro League side and gained experience on loan at Oostende, RWD Molenbeek, and Portuguese club SC Braga. Now at Watford, Dwomoh is ready to make an impact in English football.
