Ghana’s Fatawu Issahaku handed jersey number 7 at Leicester City

Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has been handed with the number 7 jersey at Leicester City after sealing a permanent move to the club.

Issahaku penned a five-year deal to seal a permanent move from Sporting CP to the former English Premier League champions following an impressive loan spell.

The highly-rated winger becomes the club's latest signing in the summer transfer window.

The former Steadfast and Dreams FC attacker played a pivotal as Leicester City made a quick return to the Premier League.

He racked up seven goals and assisted 13 cross competition to help his outfit make a return to the Premier League after winning the Championship.

Meanwhile, Issahaku reunited with his teammates at training as the team gear up for the upcoming football season.

Leicester City will face Shrewsbury Town, Italian outfit Palermo, Augsburg of Germany and France's RC Lens in pre-season friendlies.

The talented youngster is expected to play a key role for Leicester in the upcoming campaign following his impressive first stint at the King Power Stadium.
