Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo could still leave IF Elfsborg before the summer transfer window closes at the end of the month.

According to reports in Sweden, the club has received offers from Championship club Plymouth Argyle and Austrian team LASK Linz for Michael Baidoo.

Sport Bladet reports that the two clubs have emerged as the front-runners to secure the 25-year-old’s signature.

Baidoo has showcased consistent performance for Elfsborg since his arrival in January 2022 and has drawn significant interest this summer.

In recent months, several clubs have monitored Baidoo's progress, but Plymouth and LASK have taken the lead in their pursuit of the midfielder.

This season, Baidoo has demonstrated his offensive prowess by directly contributing to 11 goals in 19 games in the Swedish top flight, scoring seven goals and providing four assists.

His contributions extend beyond league play; Baidoo has played a critical role in Elfsborg’s efforts to qualify for the group stages of the 2024/25 Europa League, participating in six goals across seven matches.
