Hasaacas Ladies emerged victorious in the Ghana Women's Premier League final, securing their fifth title by defeating Ampem Darkoa Ladies on Saturday, June 8.

The highly anticipated match took place at the University of Ghana Stadium, where Hasaacas Ladies triumphed with a 2-1 scoreline.

After losing in the last two finals against the same opponents, the Sekondi-based team was determined to break Nana Mma's dominance.

Their determination paid off when Veronica Baa Kumah opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a remarkable strike from outside the penalty box.

Just three minutes later, Hasaacas Ladies doubled their lead. Fidous Yakaubu provided a fantastic cross into the far post, which Abdulai Mukarama expertly converted from close range, beating the goalkeeper.

In the 73rd minute, Ampem Darkoa's top scorer, Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah, managed to reduce the deficit by scoring a goal.

However, despite late pressure from their opponents, Hasaacas Ladies held their ground and emerged victorious, reclaiming the league title from their arch-rivals.

This victory marks Hasaacas Ladies' fifth title since the inception of the Women's Premier League.

Looking forward, they now set their sights on the upcoming WAFU B Women's Champions League championship.
