Alhaji Grusah, the bankroller of King Faisal Football Club, has declared that he will not attend the 30th Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), citing the lack of a proper agenda.
The congress, which began on August 26, 2024, at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram, is a significant gathering of football stakeholders from across the nation.
In an interview with Peace FM, as monitored by Footballghana.com, Alhaji Grusah expressed his displeasure with the organization of the event.
"I am not there they brought an invitation to me my secretary, financial statement, and budget that is what they brought that is not what we go to Congress for. We have to get an agenda I won't spoil my money to board a flight and go to Accra to attend this useless Congress," he said.
"They did not add an agenda ask the clubs this has never happened before that is why I am saying I will not attend and one representative I said I won't go. My secretary said he will go and listen to what will go on and come and tell me I won't go and spoil my mouth for football people who think about themselves and tomorrow what their children will get in football or do football.
