Qarabag announce the signing of Ghana winger Emmanuel Addai

Qarabag have announced the signing of Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Addai from Spanish second-tier club Alcorcón.

The 23-year-old joins the Azerbaijani Premier League side on a three-year deal that will run until 2027.

Qarabag confirmed the signing via a statement on their official website, expressing delight at the acquisition of Addai.

“Our club has completed its latest transfer: negotiations with Spain's Alcorcón have concluded positively, and attacking midfielder Emmanuel Addai has been signed,” the club said.

“A two-year contract has been signed between our club and the 23-year-old Ghanaian player. Addai's most recent team was Spanish side Alcorcón, where he played from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, he played for Bobigny in France during the 2021-2022 season.”

Addai’s former club, Alcorcón, also released a statement expressing their gratitude.

“We would like to thank Emmanuel Addai for his commitment, effort, and attitude throughout his time with us. This will always be your home. Good luck with your new challenge, Addai!”
