Tanzanian referee Ahmed Ally Arajiga to officiate African Games men's semi-final between Ghana and Senegal

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the appointment of Ahmed Ally Arajiga from Tanzania as the referee for the African Games Men's semi-final match between Ghana and Senegal.

The highly anticipated fixture is set to take place on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium at 8:30 pm.

Arajiga, an experienced referee, will be accompanied by Elphas Sitole from South Africa as Assistant Referee I, and Romuald Brudo Ibenantenaina from Madagascar as Assistant Referee II. Salisu Bashir from Nigeria has been appointed as the Fourth Official.

Ali Mohamed Ahmed from Somalia will serve as the Match Commissioner, while Nasiru Sarkintudu Jibril, a Nigerian, will work as General Coordinator. The media will be represented by Juliet Bawuah from Ghana, serving as the Media Officer, and security will be overseen by Nick Owusu, also from Ghana. Elmootez Belleh Dachraoui from Tunisia will assist as the Assistant General Coordinator.

Ghana secured their place in the semis after topping Group A, setting the stage for an exciting clash with Senegal.
