Ghana international Ernest Nuamah Appiah has emerged as a transfer target for Premier League duo Everton and Nottingham Forest, Footballghana.com can report.

The Premier League clubs are said to have enquired about the availability of the enterprising Ghanaian winger, who plies his trade for French giants Olympique Lyon.

The French Ligue 1 club splashed €28.5 million to secure the permanent signing of Nuamah from RWD Molenbeek in July following a successful loan spell last season.

According to L'equipe, Nuamah is on the radar of Everton, Nottingham Forest and two other Saudi Clubs, who are keen to strengthen their squad before the closure of the transfer window on Friday.

Lyon will oppose Nuamah’s departure from the club as they seeks to improve its precarious financial situation, while its loft has struggled to empty so far.

However, the Ligue 1 giants has slapped a price tag of €30 million price tag on the highly-rated winger.

The former Nordjaelland star is currently under contract until the summer of 2028.

Meanwhile, the Ghanaian international has ruled out the possibility of joining the Saudi Pro League.

Nuamah was forced off with an injury at the weekend when Lyon succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to AS Monaco in the French Ligue 1.
