Fulham and Everton enter negotiations to sign Ghana winger Ernest Nuamah from Lyon

Premier League duo Fulham and Everton have opened talks to sign Ghana international Ernest Nuamah from Olympique Lyon this summer.

Negotiations has already taken place between the Premier League clubs and Lyon as they seek to secure his services before the transfer window shuts.

The French Ligue 1 club splashed €28.5 million to secure the permanent signing of Nuamah from RWD Molenbeek in July following a successful loan spell last season.

According to transfer expect, Fabrizio Romano, Fulham and Everton have both approached Lyon for the services of the pacey Ghanaian winger.

Lyon will oppose Nuamah’s departure from the club as they seeks to improve its precarious financial situation.

However, the Ligue 1 giants has slapped a price tag of €30 million price tag on the highly-rated winger.

The former Nordjaelland star is currently under contract until the summer of 2028.

Nuamah was forced off with an injury at the weekend when Lyon succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to AS Monaco in the French Ligue 1.
