Austrian side RB Salzburg have confirmed the signing of Ghanaian youngster Edmund Baidoo.
The promising midfielder has signed a five-year deal with the club. The Ghanaian prospect joins the side from Sogndal IL.
The Bundesliga side reportedly paid €3.3m plus €1.2m add-ons for the services of the 18-year-old.
Baidoo has 10 goal involvements in 18 starts in the Norwegian First Division this season while also notching up five goals and assists in three cup games.
Baidoo joined Sogndal in March 2024 and has impressed heavily during his time at the club.
He signed for the club from Ghanaian Division Two side AsanSka Football Club.
The versatile attacker was a subject of interest from two Premier League clubs after bursting onto the scene but has now opted to join Salzburg to continue his development in Europe.
