Czech Republic giants Viktoria Plzeň have secured the services of Ghanaian forward Prince Kwabena Adu in a new transfer move.

The 20-year-old, formerly with Bechem United and recently with Ukrainian side Kryvbas FC, has inked a three-year deal with Viktoria Plzeň, which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2027.

Viktoria Plzeň confirmed Adu's signing on their official website on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

The statement read: “Prince Kwabena Adu is the newest player for Viktoria Plzeň. The 20-year-old Ghanaian forward joins from Kryvbas and has signed a three-year contract with the club."

Adu Kwabena notably faced Viktoria Plzeň during the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League earlier this month. In the first leg held in Košice, he scored a goal against Plzeň. Now, he will be donning their colors as he transitions to his new club.

Plzeň will be up against Scottish side Hearts in the reverse fixture of the Europa League playoff on Thursday. However, Adu will not be available for this match due to eligibility rules.
