Ghana’s Right to Dream Academy secured their first win at the 2024 Gothia Cup on Tuesday, July 16.

The Western Region-based team triumphed over Moldovan outfit Academia de fotbal Radu Rebeja with a 2-0 victory.

This win followed a slow start, as they had succumbed to a 3-2 defeat against Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna in their opening game.

The U16 team, based in Old Akrade, delivered an outstanding performance to bounce back from Monday’s loss.

Right to Dream showcased their determination and passion, playing their hearts out to secure the much-needed victory.

The team, notably younger than many of their competitors, learned from their mistakes in the initial defeat to ultimately clinch the win against Academia de fotbal Radu Rebeja.

Right to Dream Academy looks forward to continuing their winning run in the tournament. The famous Academy, defending champions of the Gothia Cup, won the title against AIK in July 2023 and aim to repeat their success this year.
